This philosophy came to life in the form of 40 decorative silkscreen designs he developed for Action Office, the first-ever open-plan furniture system. Unlike Girard???s patterned printed textiles, these fabric panels, which were originally released in 1972, used singular stand-alone images that range from figurative pictograms to abstract patterns.
